Back to do battle with the hideous "Deadites," Bruce Campbell reprises his role from The Evil Dead series as Ash, the handsome, shotgun-toting, chainsaw-armed department store clerk from S-Mart's housewares division. Demonic forces time warp him—and his '73 Oldsmobile—into England's Dark Ages, where he romances a beauty (Embeth Davidtz) and faces legions of undead beasts, including a ghastly army of skeletons. Can Ash save the living from the evil dead, rescue his girlfriend, and get back to his own time?

Overflowing with spectacular special effects, Army of Darkness will make you scream with fear and laughter.

Summary: In the summer of 1979, a group of Detroit friends with $375,000 raised from local investors headed for a cabin outside of Morristown, Tennessee to make a film about five college students possessed by an ancient 'Book of the Dead.' The filmmakers' goal was to create 'The Ultimate Experience in Grueling Terror,' a movie so relentless that it would stand forever as a landmark in modern horror history. When it was released in 1982, it was immediately recognized worldwide as one of the most ferociously original horror films ever made. Twenty years later, this is THE EVIL DEAD like you've never seen or heard it before.

THE EVIL DEAD is now more grueling than ever, featuring newly restored state-of-the-art digitally remastered picture and sound, and loaded with incredible new extras, all personally supervised by director Sam Raimi.

This edition comes packaged in a replica of the original Book Of The Dead designed by Tom Sullivan. It features a sculpted 'fleshy' cover and pages of artwork produced exclusively for this edition. Also includes a special 24-Page "Bringing The Dead Home For Dinner" collector's booklet.

Summary: Director Tobe Hooper (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Poltergeist) pays affectionate tribute to various classic horror movies in this tale of two teenage couples who spend the night in a sleazy carnival funhouse. On her first date with Buzz (Cooper Huckabee), Amy (Elizabeth Berridge) disobeys her father and goes to the carnival with Richie (Miles Chapin) and Liz (Largo Woodruff), but their first date ends up as their last. After witnessing a murder, the four terrified teens are trapped in the maze of the funhouse and stalked by a real monster, a horribly deformed killer who lurks among the freakish exhibits to butcher them one by one. Also known as Carnival of Terror, it features Sylvia Miles (Midnight Cowboy) as an ill-fated fortune teller and gory special makeup designs by OSCAR winner Rick Baker (An American Werewolf in London, Ed Wood).
